Card for Carol

Hi, I just wanted to show the card Ive made for my SIL today. It's the same Creative Inspirations sketch below just turned 90'. She's very into pink and quite girly so I chose Lola with her brolly as it's an April birthday! Adding her name keeps her happy as she loves to get personalised cards! All papers bar the mid pink at the back (free in a craft mag) are from pink petticoat (as is Lola), the sentiment is pebbles inc and the name rub on is doodlebug - simply sweet. Buttons from stash. Hope you've all enjoyed a lovely crafting day!

Creative Inspirations

Hi,
I have stumbled across this new blog and am glad I did! It has a Wednesday Challenge so I'm still in time to add my version of their first sketch. Ive used Pink Petticoat pp and image and coloured with Whispers pens and chalk highlighting the wheels with a little Baby Blue stickles - as it seemed quite appropriate! The sentiment is from Studio G and the buttons, ribbons and mirri board are form my stash.

C4E Challenge

Here is my version of this weeks sketch at C4E. As usual I like to use PP and image by pink petticoat and coloured it with w/colour pencils. Finishing with a little rhinestone stickles on the wheels. Papermania flowers and bling, ribbon from my box!
I've gone away from the traditional baby pink and used a stronger shade for a change.
Happy crafting!

Thanks

Hi,

I'd just like to give this award to Michelle & Pinky from C4E. Michelle has been a brilliant mentor for me in this blogging world and Pinky has taken the time and trouble to visit me and leave comments.

I'm very grateful, thank you both :D

And here is my little lady Honey! Doing very well after having her stitches out today following her op last week. She looked lovely in black and white so left it like that however a dog's 'red eye' isn't recognised on the photo software so I can't remove the ghostly look, sorry but I hope you think she still looks lovely!!

I've made these for two great nieces who's birthdays are only a few days apart. They have to be similar but different or they will compete!
My PP is from Pink Petticoat and the images are Tilda which have been coloured with water colour pencils and finished with a clear gel pen to highlight. Flowers, buttons & gems from stash.
I've used the layout for Millie's card from a Sketch on the C4E site.

I've been busy this week with family cards and this is one to welcome the latest addition. I used Pink Petticoat backing papers and download image and chalked the colour then added some Stickles for a little bling! The tiny buttons, ribbon and flowers are from stash.

Honey is well! Monday was her big operation and she was so groggy when we collected her it very nearly made me feel guilty about putting her through it but she well be so much better for it! She was speyed as she keeps having phantom pregnancies and her hormones were all over the place!!

I've been busy making Mother's Day cards for others as I no longer have my Mum. Here is one I made which I hope you like, the idea was from a cardmaking magazine a couple of years ago. I really like it as it is so different and each one I make looks so unique due to the different PP used. The photos aren't brilliant as the flash has bounced off the pretty buttons but it still gives an idea of what it was like. The card I find looks quite bare when the flower is undone but once it's opened I think the balance is much better.
I used Basic Grey PP and Pink Petticoat 'washed out' in rose and papaya. Ribbons, buttons, bling & rub-ons from stash, threading water border punch and woodware tag punch.
I'm looking forward to seeing my girls this weekend, hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

C4E Weekly Challenge

This is my 1st ever challenge completed in time! I really enjoyed this challenge and although I am new to 'challenges' I do hope to participate much more in the near future! I made this card for my youngest daughter's fella who's parents are celebrating their Pearl Wedding Anniv this weekend.
Well, it's taken me 4 hrs to get that image there and Im so pleased to see it at long last! My long suffering pc was so very nearly taking it's first flying lesson earlier but I am pleased to say that it decided that it doesn't like heights!
