C4E Sunday Sketch

Hello, I havent been crafting much lately as hubby is on holiday. I needed to make a Thanks card for him to send to his Daughter so I used the C4E sketch. Once I started using sketches I find I now dry up if I dont have one in mind when I start cardmaking so keep up the good work to everyone that shares their sketches with us!
We've both now got bad backs so theres no gardening today and its a craft day so I hope to get busy with my stash!

Cinderella

Hello, this is a card I was asked to make for a friends daughter who is shortly to be in a production of Cinders and it's a Good Luck card. I added the sentiment after the photo as I wanted to enter this into the Quickutz Challenge over at Craftsulove (www.craftsulove.co.uk). This is my 1st entry into anything other than in blog land so Im pushing the boundaries!!

The image is a free clipart of which Im really grateful and its mounted onto QK flowers cookie cutter, the wavy line is QK border die. The pp is from PP, the bling and the flowers are from my stash.

Lilac Days

I made this in an attempt to try to steer away from the Pink Petticoat images! Still cute though! I cant take the praise the colouring, hubby did that as we sat in the garden yesterday enjoying the lovely sunshine. I was busy with lots of images and he had to have a go too! They're like kids aren't they?! Im not sure about the others that he did, he went a little too.....um.....Leonardo for my liking!
The papers are all PP, image is FF and ribbon (which is actually an exact match in the flesh!) from Hobbycraft! Yes, I was gutted they were closed on Easter Sunday but I made up for it yesterday!

Here are a couple of the Easter Bags I made for my girls' and their chaps. I used Pink Petticoat papers, tags and template. They were decorated with bling and ribbon from stash.
The contents were made by Cadburys!

Trip to the Beach!

This was taken just before she made a run for the water and ended up covered in mud!! Seems even dogs have drooping bra straps!!

Dog Tired!

Just had to share this, during a lovely walk last week Honey needed a little break! She's got her ball nice and close just so I couldn't keep throwing it!!

These Jack Russells all love to strect out their back legs, it looks so uncomfortable but they both do it! I think she's just pretending to be a big dog!

Lastly

I was trying to be economical by using up some of the scraps from the other cards and came up with this. Its not a sketch Ive seen before and there's probably a jolly good reason why!! lol! The ribbon isnt quite as dark in life as it appears. I highlighted the cake, her pearls and her bag with the clear sakura pen and coloured all of the images with Whispers pens and watered out. The rubons are doodlebug.
Happy crafting!
:D

Really outside of the box!

This digital image is from Charmed Cards and is 'Girls about Town'. I wanted something so different and I think Ive done that ok but now its just whether I like it or not!! lol! The pp is willow and cranberry from Pink Petticoat (well thats a surprise Keryn!).
The photo doesnt do it justice, no honestly it does look better than this in the flesh! The ribbon is form a box of chocs - no I havent eaten them this week! But the colour is much softer than it looks under the flash, maybe thats one of the problems?!
I like the image so to really do it justice I shall have another go!

This is Lola surrounded by papaya and milk chocolate. Milk chocolate - well who am I kidding, any chocolate - has been a friend of the special order over the last few days! There's nothing like chocolate for days when the cloud comes over! These colours are so not my norm but I think I might be able to get used to them but I think the stark contrast between the 2 designs doesn't really work. The sketch is from C4E.

Lola

Hi, I've been busy with Lola for the last few days. When I couldn't bring myself to make any cards I was busy with colouring in! It was just like being at Infants School! I chose colours that dont come naturally to me so please bear with me as they're not the run of the mill pinks/lilacs!
Hubby used to wear a lot of 'swamp' as I used to call it but Pink Petticoat call it olive so thats what I used with milk chocolate here. I coloured the flower with chalk ink as I didn't have anything in my stash of these colours! (The chalk ink was part of a set from qvc). I found a font on the pc I hadn't tested before as the sample looks awful and it's Edda.
End of part 1!

Smile!

No crafting today, had loads of blood taken for tests and feeling really tired and a bit low so I wanted a nice happy image to make me smile. This one delivers! Here's Honey being a cheeky scamp as usual and enjoying her short lived freedom without the dog guard!

Hope to be back to normal crafting tomorrow! x

Tagged!

Hello, I was tagged by Pinky in a 'round robin' kind of thing! I was 4th on her list and so had to go into the 4th file of my albums, 4th folder and 4th image and this is it. Not exactly exciting, sorry!!
It was one of many shots we took of one of our lillies so hubby could paint it, they were really amazing so all in all it was a productive shot!
Next, it's down to me to list 4 people who are asked if they could follow suit - only if you wish and time permitting!
I follow a few blogs of people whose work I really admire so will add some of these people even though I dont actually know them all personally and hope that it will produce some lovely photos.
Apologies in advance :D
Have fun
Keryn
