Bagelopes R Us!

Hello,

Im totally addicted to Bagelopes!  Beware bagelope overload!
I found lots of inspiring tuts on Split Coast Stampers (that is one amazing site isnt it!) and decided to try one of these.

These are my first attempts and the envelopes were cheap thin ones so I didnt close them with a ribbon but with a funky paper clip.  I went to town yesterday and came home with more envelopes of a better quality and lots more bright paperclips.  They are so quick to make and so so easy, if you fancy trying something a bit different why not hop on over and find one that you fancy!

I love The Range as you will know so a couple of weeks back when I saw a set of Forever Friends Easter decoupage for just £1 it just jumped into my basket! Ive made all of my family an Easter card and Ive just finished off with a card each for my girls and hubby.

The fab papers are from Funky Hand, the dotty ones are a recent release and go perfectly with the stripey one that is currently a freebie.

Id like to enter this card into:

DIY cards

Morning!

Does anyone else end up making their own cards?  My eldest always gets really upset when she has to buy a card for me and does her best to get me to make cards that she can give me!  I used to refuse but over the years Ive gradually given in on some occasions and Easter is one of those;
I was asked to make 2 cards suitable for parents!

So I made 2 fairly similar cards with this freebie image from Bugaboo.  Ive layered the front couple of eggs for a bit of extra dimension and finished them off with my new Bigz bloom by Sizzix.
Well I hope her 'inlaws' like it!

Id like to enter this card into these challenges

Papertake Weekly Truly Dimensional
Pollycraft Easter
Die Cut Dreams Easter
Stampin for the Weekend Easter

Stitching up Easter

Good morning crafters!

Heres my DT card this week where the challenge is to use stitching, real or faux it doesnt matter.  Ive used this as another opportunity to slip in another Easter card.  This card is now winging its way to one of my sisters who is religious so hopefully she will like it.

Welcome Max

Hi,

When asked to make a welcome card for a dog I did a double take!  Its not exactly your everyday request but then my DD1 isnt exactly ..........!
This card is for a couple who tragically lost their beloved GSD a short while ago due to fits.  They have now reserved a tiny little puppy, also a German Shepherd and he's already been named as Max.

Ive used the sketch over at Sketch n Stash and it requests that we detail what weve used that is old from our stash and what is new.  For image and the blue card I have had both of them for many months but hadn't used them before now so they are both old and new at the same time.  I hope that counts.

Easter set

Hello!

Back again with a set Ive made for my youngest.

Ive used the gorgeous Dotty Bunny from Bugaboo, it was a Friday Freebie last year.  Im sure I used a sketch for inspiration but cant find it anywhere now but thank you anyway!  (Dont you just hate it when you do this?!)

Ive used papers by Anne Langpap at 2 P's in a Bucket with Sizzix photo corners and nesties sentiment labels.

They're not exactly small though, 6" squares, I struggle to remember to scale down the images when Im printing them off :/

Baby Makes

Hello,

Back with a couple more items Ive made for a friend of DD1.
Mega apologies for the photos, I cant wait to get the little photo booth!

I have loads of these papier mache shapes and this is the 1st time Ive done anything other than paint them!  I really dont know what Im doing with them! I painted it first in a watered down white acrylic paint then covered it in a variety of baby papers and edged with a matching ink.  Ive die cut his name and birth date and added a few little buttons but Im now at a loss as to what to do with it now!!  Do they need to be sealed?  If so, with what?  Ive scoured the internet for many hours but to no avail.

And something that I do know what to do and thats this little hoodie!  DD1 is mad for her hoodies so when she saw this pattern it was clear that she would request one of these!  Today when I rang to say that theses were ready for her to collect she said she loved the hoodie so much that she may decide to keep it for her own baby.  I said that the wool will have disintegrated  by the time she has a baby so her friend Beth is lucky, she will be getting this for her little George!

Thanks for your visit!

ps. This post is especially for Chris as I told her ages ago that Ive been busy with baby makes and she wanted to see some!

I got it but dont tell Honey!

Just when Honey wasn't watching me I snook out of the river and she didnt pinch my ball!  Then Mum went and threw it in again!

Tropical Wedding

Morning crafters!
I saw the current challenge over at Cute Card Thursday 'Totally Tropical' and knew instantly what card I would make!
My youngest daughters favourite colours have always been hot tropical colours and she has been trying to find flowers and dresses etc etc in her favourite shade of coral for 2yrs now for her wedding next year and we are very pleased as the colour is just appearing more and more so fingers crossed she will be having her wedding in her favourite colour!

Meanwhile here is the card I have made.

The sweet image and sentiment is by Stampendous and the papers are scraps and my favourite bit is the new big bloom by Sizzix that I got for Mothers Day!

Here's our Honey watching her Mum go swimming for her ball (shes just grabbed it in her mouth) and it was taken down at the river last week!  Honey runs into the water everytime she sees it but is too scared to swim instead she just waits for Poppy to reappear and then snatches the ball from her and runs off!

Christmas Card Club 10.04

Hello,

The last fortnight has just flown by, its been so special having spent such a lot of time with my 2 girls on both weekends and what with the weather well, its just been perfect.

Our CCC is growing so well and its been lovely having new faces join in with the fun each time.  The last challenge was set by the lovely Sally and she chose a super sketch and this is what I did with it:

As I only used the small tall cards I thought Id better do 2, I used the fun image by Bugaboo and used up some scraps from last years xmas papers.  I tried to vary the look slightly which was interesting as there really isnt much room on these little cards anyway!

Right, below is what Id like to set as my challenge for this fortnight.

Id like you to choose one from each column and make a Christmas card using the 3 factors that you select.  Just 1 from each column!  Hope you like it and if you'd like to get a couple of xmas cards ready for this year then why not show us your makes on Sunday 24th April - Easter Sunday.  We'd all love to see what you come up with.  The CCC crew is listed on my sidebar, just click and go and see what they have made also!

Have a super day,

Easter Ribbons DT

Morning!

We trotted off to Lee on Solent yesterday with the dogs and I am officially now married to a belisha beacon!  Poor soul has the face of a beetroot and even though I was sat right by the side of him throughout, I am still as white as I was the day before.  We are surprised as it was warm and sunny but we never imagined it was hot enough to get burned!
Am I just getting old or is it normal for every teenage girl to strip to her shorts and bikini top in April at the first glimpse of the sun?!

Anyway here is this weeks DT card using ribbons by Crafty Ribbon.  As you will see I was still on my 'white' phase and love the warm soft colours that remind me of Easter.  Hop on over if you'd also like to join in this week with your Easter makes to Delicious Doodles as we'd love to see you.
I would like to enter this card into:

ABC Challenge R - Ribbon
Simon Says Challenge Easter or Spring Colours
Creative Inspirations Punches/dies

Enjoy the beautiful sunshine everyone!

Sailing boat

Good morning bloggers!

Ive been told off for not blogging so here's something thats been keeping me quiet!  My little great nephew - the only one to carry on our family name! - is soon to be 4 so I used this fab image by Lily of the Valley 'Sailing Boat' I was unsure if this image would fit in the nestie so my super friend Claire kindly sent me this one to have a test before I buy it, thank you Claire!

For this card I followed this months sketch over at Kathys Waffle Sketch which I loved.  I used Pink Petticoat papers a comp/gen sentiment, a button and a single card candy.  It was quite hard not overcrowding the card but Im getting used to it!
Have a super day, will be back soon with some more shares.
