Hello,
Back with a couple more items Ive made for a friend of DD1.
Mega apologies for the photos, I cant wait to get the little photo booth!
I have loads of these papier mache shapes and this is the 1st time Ive done anything other than paint them! I really dont know what Im doing with them! I painted it first in a watered down white acrylic paint then covered it in a variety of baby papers and edged with a matching ink. Ive die cut his name and birth date and added a few little buttons but Im now at a loss as to what to do with it now!! Do they need to be sealed? If so, with what? Ive scoured the internet for many hours but to no avail.
And something that I do know what to do and thats this little hoodie! DD1 is mad for her hoodies so when she saw this pattern it was clear that she would request one of these! Today when I rang to say that theses were ready for her to collect she said she loved the hoodie so much that she may decide to keep it for her own baby. I said that the wool will have disintegrated by the time she has a baby so her friend Beth is lucky, she will be getting this for her little George!
Thanks for your visit!

WOW two gorgeous makes hun - very impressed! Now I found something new today on the net after reading another ladies blog this morning - a product called Mod Podge - had to look it up as never heard of it - but you can get it in various varieties - matte, gloss, etc for paper, card, tins, whatever and it seals your work. The lady in question had made a recipe book and then covered it in Mod Podge which seals it and it becomes waterproof! Amazing and I will be buying some to test out. Hope this helps. Hugs, Claire x
Just having a little catch up Keryne, some really love makes lately and loving the pictures of the dogs, thanks for sharing them.
Hope you are OK.

Love the big letter, gorgeous colours and yes I would definitely give it a coat of something just to preserve it. Love the hoodie, so cute. I used to knit for years by hand and machine and so enjoyed it.
Gorgeous little hoodie Keryn. Glad to see I'm not the only one knitting for England :-)
