Country Girl Charms

Hello, the wedding order is being changed nearly daily! Luckily I made extra of everything so I've not had to make too many extra but it has set me back a bit. I'd hoped to have finished it all by now and I haven't even started with the strawberry bonbons! I made this for my PostPals stash as Id rather have enough to send one to each of the children as opposed to selecting just one or two. It's Holly in the garden from Charmed Cards & Crafts butI think she looks more like one of the Land Girls from WW2! I coloured her with my w/c pencils and used all pp from PP, sentiment stamp free with craft magazine, prima flowers with tiny buttons from stash & looped with twine.
Hope to be back to normal crafting very soon.
Thank you for calling in!

Gatefold Wedding in pink

Hello again, here is a card I made last week for my daughter to give to her friends. They all met at teacher training college and she actually got the couple together so she was particularly pleased that they have now married!

I used the new Elegance design from PP in reversing papers along with my border hearts from Quickutz, nesties and my 2 new stamps . I couldn't wait to get my hands on them! The cake is from Woodware and the sentiment is Penny Black. I used a tiny amount of Glamour Dust too on the cake decorations, I love the effect of it but I HATE with a passion the fact that I end up covered in the stuff for at least the rest of the day!!

Thank you for stopping by

Mozilla Firefox is the BEST!

Hello,
I just wanted to share this news; Victoria contacted me and said she uses this site instead of Internet Explorer, it is free and quick to download and has so many add-ons available too. But, the main difference is: it is so much FASTER on Blogger than Internet Explorer!

As does Victoria, I too highly recommend this internet server for anyone who is being driven mad by Blogger.

Its free, quick and easy so why not have a peep!

Thanks Victoria, you've saved my sanity!

A welcome

Hello! Im still here just a bit busy with wedding makes etc. I need regular breaks from the monotomy so have still been blog hopping.
I just wanted to post my card to welcome a special little baby to a blog pal. I would have liked to have posted it via RM but seemingly that wont be happening so here it is: a cute blue lion courtesy of Pink Petticoat as are the pp!
I hope to post a few other cards that I made a few days before I started on the last batch of wedding finery so will add those over the weekend.
Hope you all have a really lovely weekend doing lots of what you like to do!
Thank you for looking!

Before I give in and get a gun...

could you please give me some advice as to what is a really good security package?? Blogger is driving me batty and believe me, I don't need any more nudges!! lol
I think I saw somewhere this week that someone had Firefly (or was it Firefox?! see what I mean?!) and she said it was really great. Ive got McAfee but its crashed at least once daily for the last few weeks, perhaps its subscription is up?
Any advice would be very much appreciated!
Thank you

Wedding Blues

Hello, here is my entry into this week's Creative Inspirations Challenge which is 'stitching': real or faux. Ive made a wedding card having printed up the wedding verse and layered it onto Pink Petticoat new Elegance swirls and their mini dots (bluebell colour). Ive added the close up just to show that there is some stitching on it! Added a little heart for an added bit of interest and for Jules! I haven't made a card with just text for a long while and am fairly pleased with it's simplicity.
It makes me smile when I look at the photo as you can't see the creative mess that is just out of shot!! I regularly clear my workspace and then I get a creative block as I dont want to touch anything to make it messy again! Is everyone else like this or is it just me?!
Hope you like it. Pop over to join in the challenge yourself http://cinspirations.blogspot.com
Thanks for popping in!

Sweet Peas

Hello! I had unexpected visitors today in the form of my daughter and her man, it was lovely unlike the weather, its rained all day in the South! I feel so sorry for all of the brides who've planned for this day for so long and its hisses down :(
Here is my version of this weeks the Friday Sketchers Challenge. I moved the 2 little embellishments so I can't list it on their site, not that I'm often guilty of breaking the rules but the card looked better like this!!
The image is another from Chris Dark over at Sketching Stamper Digistamps which I coloured with my w/c pencils. The hand made paper was from a set from Tesco for 16p!! (It just had to be done you see!) The butterfly is quickutz and the ribbon is from stash.
Hope you have a great weekend and thank you for popping by.

Hello, I hope you've all had a good week! In a small break from wedding stationery I made this card using the digistamp boutique Olive stamp. I had a pink overload with this card and used Funky Fairy for all of the backing paper and direct on to the card. After watercolouring theimage I used glossy accents on the roses but I wont be doing that again on this image altho it does actually look a lot better IRL.
Am looking forward to catching up with all of your crafting creations over the weekend.
Thank you for popping by

Head Chef

This card is for my future Son in law! How weird does that sound! He's a Head Chef so I used this little outfit set. I used a selection of papers from a great big stash of Claire Curd's The Big One by Papermania. Ribbon, buttons and white gel pen from stash. This is the first inside Ive shown so I hope you like it.
Have a great week.
Thanks for having a peep!

What a scare!

What an awful fright I had first thing Friday morning when I tried to put the pc on. Broken - couldn't find a hard drive! What the heck, a hard drive nicker was in the neighbourhood I thought! About to trudge of to PC World to ask them to mend it I was put onto someone who is a PC Designer and who would come to have a look. Only problem was I didn't know when so I had a very tense w/end wondering how big a plonker I actually could be in that I hadnt copied all of my digi craft files to disc?? Gold Medal I reckoned - easily. Under my breathe I have to add that I did about 5 hrs of back breaking ironing - yes I had that much! AND, I can now see what colour the laminate is in here too! No pc meant little crafting but plenty of sorting. I know which I'd rather be doing! Miracle man came and 10 mins later found out that I had a loose wire - I could've told him that on the phone!! Hey Presto, life as I know it is now back to 'normal'!
Anyway these 3 little cards I made using some of the plentiful supplies I found on my desk and I didnt have to touch a 'puter at all! The images are all Lizzie from the digistamp boutique and pp is Funky Fairy and Pink Petticoat - fancy that! Couldn't be inspired by any sketches so had to wing it Im affraid!
I hope everyone else has had a really lovely relaxing, crafting weekend!
Thanks for dropping by,
Keryn x

Teddy Scraps

Hi, here is a card made
from the scraps from
the last card. I always print more papers than I need - in the words of my Mum - just incase! The beautiful image is from Chris Dark over at http://sketchingstamperdigi-stamps.blogspot.com she has some fabulous images and I wanted all of them! Bit by bit I will add to my collection though! The papers are from www.funkyfairyspapercrafts.com.
Thank you for popping by, Ive got to finish another exploding box for a girls 13th birthday.

Birth Card

Hello!
Hope you've all got your fans on! Not being greedy but Ive just had to get a second one for my desk! No, its not only because there's more of me to cool but the pc gets VERY hot at times!! (coughs!) - Yes, alright, I should go back on the diet :(
Here is a card order I made for daughter Steph yesterday. Surprisingly, it was made with NO PP papers! Shock horror! The papers (and I printed the card too) are from the very talented Shaz at Funky Fairies. Jules put me onto her and Im so glad I did! Her range of colours is 90! Now even I can find every single shade I fancy which is brilliant! Pop over and have a browse, everything is so very affordable too and of course, really gorgeous!
I used Paisley Love in the 2nd shade of pink on this card along with an image from PP (had to get in there somewhere I suppose?!) The die cuts are from QK - including the long border of hearts. I used white rubons on the hearts with the baby's weight, date etc etc. On reflection I think I should have made the heart border in white and then pink rubons.
Hope you all have a great day!
