WOYWW 51

Good morning all you WOYWW'ers!!  Only 1 wk to go before the year celebrations and as I could have probably predicted, Ive nothing sorted so will be manically prepping something this coming week, well I do hope so!
If you fancy joining in the craziness and friendliness that is WOYWW pop over to Julia's and you can find out how to play!
Im finishing an exploding box for a lady's 60th.  Its been hard trying to cover 14 sides with images for a person I dont know but hopefully it will be fine!
The bluebell and ivory was really pretty to work with and the box itself is pearlescant sort of mother of pearl effect - it reflects a soft gold in some lights.  All I need to do is to adhere the three layers together and adorn and assemble the lid.
At the back on the left is the candy I won from the lovely Brenda for the Allsorts blog-hop.  It is gorgeous and it really cheered me up yesterday.
Ive also received a couple of stamps that I bought last week a lovely Lily of the Valley bridal Couple and a great collage image by Hampton Art from ebay.

Hope you have a really lovely day, thank you for calling in and I hope to see as many of the WOYWW'ers as I possibly can!

Keryn x

What a fab job you've made of that ex box. I always find it easier to do things for people I don't know - the lack of emotional attachment certainly makes it a bit quicker!

Your expolding box is stunning. i love making them and agree it can be hard sometimes covering all the sides if you have no photos or don't know the person very well. Hiya Keryn. Strictly speaking that's not a crafting desk but can't be bothered to do all the bits of paperwork lurking and requiring filing so stuffed them in a box LOL. Love those Jack Russells. My DS and family have a wire haired one called Holly. She's the bees knees and so bright. Have been checking out the cards on your blog and they are lovely. See you are also into some of the stuff I like. There's more of us out there than I think. That's why I love WOYWW. Love BettyXXX
