Xmas Gang 1

Hello,

Ready for a new challenge?  Well lets tie up our last one first!  There's a small number of us who want to make proper decent xmas cards this year for our own personal use.  Somehow when the time came we all found that we had been caught short so some of us have pledged that we will make at least 1 every fortnight.  We started with a sketch by the ever so lovely Crafty Chris and here is her card:

I know she has had some pc problems this week, as has Clare so Im not too sure at this stage if either of them will be able to join in for a few days.  However, the ever so busy Pinky has managed to play so hop on over and see her gorgeous xmas creation!  Another gangster is Claire so shortly we will be seeing her creation plus she is setting the next theme for us all so dont forget to check out what she has in store for us!

Here's my contribution:

Ive used my little Forever Friends sale bargain stamp along with some Papermania papers, a pc generated sentiment (that I dont like now!), a Marianne Poinsettia flower, the gorgeous circle die is a fab xmas pressie from Clare and it is from Nellie.  In fact the border punch by MS is also a sale bargain!

If you fancy getting in a few xmas cards with no 'set in stone' rules then why not join in, it will be great to see what you make too!

Im looking forward to Dancing on Ice tonight and wonder what nonsense Jason will spout!  I dont know how he stayed after the vile comments he has made in previous series' let alone last weeks feeble attack on Karen - a world champion skater!!

Enjoy whatever it is that you are doing!

OMG no pressure then LOL!? My card is not complete and the sketch needs to be sent to you all - will try and work on it all this afternoon!!! I am so behind with everything, have done nearly two full weeks at work - give me my part time job back LOL. I am loving you're card, such a cute image and I adore that spotty paper. Just fab. Hugs, Claire x

Hi Keryn. Thanks for your comment on my blog earlier. Jo and I had a little chuckle at it...do you mean 'by' and not 'my' OR do you really intend sending your hubby round later? hehehe :-) :-)
Hugs,

Hi Keryn

Well done on getting started on your Christmas cards good and early.. .. .. I should take a leaf out of your book really but other things seem more pressing at the moment (I know I will regret it later !!).

Your card is gorgeous. Love the red and all of your new goodies.

Sounds like computer problems are rife at the moment. Mine is still in the computer hospital .. .. .. it is probably even poorlier than was originally thought .. .. as if needing a new hard drive wasn't bad enough!!

Really missing my lappy. It takes for ever to comment and post on the old machine .. .. but I shouldn't complain. At least it is working and I am lucky to have one to fall back on.

Hope all is good with you and that you had a good valentine's day.

Love Jules xx

Oh how cute, Keryn!! I adore this! Such a good idea with the Christmas cards. I've actually coloured in 2 Christmas images to be used later. I was really pleased with myself but no cards made as yet!!! Such a good idea to spread over the whole year because I always get Christmas card fatigue and then end up rushing them which I hate!! Will def be following in your footsteps! x
