New Home

Hello,  here is Mo's gorgeous new home image and it's the first time of using for me.  It's just so sweet, don't they look super cute!  I gave the plain white just a hint of interest with some simple embossed lines.  I'm quite keen to get a new scoring board, can anyone recommend one please?

I would like to join in with the DU2DS challenge this week which is no patterned paper.  I can do that!

Well, I just can't believe that today is my 1st blogiversary!  I know I dont play along every day but life does get in the way somewhat but I have to say, this last year has really been just joyful for me.  I have loved chatting with lots of new and interesting ladies and the inspiration has been amazing.
As you may have surmised I live quite a hermit's life and the 'company' of blogging has been great and I can't thank you all enough.  Seeing a comment appear in my inbox is just the best thing, I get excited still with each one!
Anyway, in time honoured fashion I have a little candy but it is a secret candy.  I don't like the 'you must follow me and spread the word' kind of candy so this candy is going to be going to one of my existing followers.

It is a little mix of styles, a bit like me really.

Included are matching papers and alphabet chipboards of MME Wild Asparagus,
Wholy Cow 'Thanks' rub ons,
 a reel of hessian,
a BARE papermania photo frame,
set of assorted brads,
gems,
2 temporary tape runners (I use mine to adhere papers to steady them before I machine stitch them)
A forever friends mans stamp - perfect for Father's Day coming in June!
along with a few reels of Coat's sewing thread.

It's not the mega candies that go one offer of super equipment or the soon to be released stamps of a certain designer and I can appreciate some of my followers might not want it but over the next week, anyone who leaves a comment will go into the 'hat' to win this simple candy.  Anyone not wanting it can always email me - I wont be offended!

Thank you very much for sharing your love of craft with me over the last year!

Keryn x

ps  it's been a busy 1st blogiversary in the last couple of weeks as not only have I enjoyed this but also my friends Claire and Jules!  Congrats to you both also!

Keryn, your Home Tweet Home card is adorable. I love the white on white and the scoring really adds a lot to the card. And your coloring is just lovely. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving comments. Oh, and I love the pics of your furbabies, give them smooches for me!

Keryn that is such an adorable image & a beautiful card. The score board advice i can definitely give is from the Craft Barn under tools & accessories called an Eazi Score (i am sure you can get them elsewhere too). They are only £9.99 but they are out of stock at the moment. I am trying to get one for me (i sat on my old one & it broke!!!) and for my sister in OZ so trying to be patient! hope that helps.
HAPPY BLOGVERSARY DARL!!! I am exactly like you on the blog front. Being disabled i can be quite a hermit & just love getting on the laptop & chatting with my cyberfriends! i just love getting messages on my blog too as well as sharing ideas, that's what it is all about. I do think some bloggers want to make as much publicity & followers as possible (which is their right) but i would rather have followers who want to follow me because they like my work etc not because i am giving something away. You have got it right Keryn and like you i believe
in rewarding your loyal blog friends & i will be doing just that later this year, well done.
What a wonderful candy you are giving away too but don't compare it to everyone else's hun, it is great candy, awesome infact!!! You are a very very kind & lovely lady. Big hugs, Clare xxx

Hi Keryn, this is a lovely new home card, think I have that image, but not used it. There are a lot of score boards out there including the glitter girl boards which can be hand for different types of lines, wiggley etc. depends what you want it for. Your candy is just lovely, don't know why anybody would turn their nose up at it lol. Happy blogaversary, glad to call you a friend. Hugs

Hi Keryn, Happy Blog Anniversary. I know how you feel, blogging opened up a whole new world to me as well. Quite isolated here in the islands, there are a few cardmakers but as yet have only met two! Your card is gorgeous and a very novel idea for a new home card. I love it

Congrats on your anniversary - I bet that went faster than you thought it would when you tentatively made a start last year!
The card is gorgeous, beautifully coloured as always. I'm in line for the Metric Scor-Pal, but as yet haven't got one, am soldiering on with a scoring blade in an old cutter.
