English Country Garden

Hi, here is my entry into this weeks Allsorts Challenge. It is my 1st go at this challenge but felt this card I made this week was suitable for it. The image is from PcCrafter, a place I visited after seeing one of Sheila's blog posts. I was asked to make a card for a male who was mad on his allotment. As hard as I could try I just couldn't find anything 'allotmenty'! I decoupaged the image to add some depth and added a mini button for the draw handle and accessorised with some twine, a lolly stick, brads and eyelets. All pp are from the Funky Fairy. I hope you like it.

Great card Keryn ! I love PC Crafter they have some gorgeous images. The thing with distress inks is to build the layers up and not put too much on in one go. A sponge is the perfect applicator too. Sue x

Hi Keryn,

So pleased to see you at Allsorts and love your take on my challenge, really super card.

Do hope the weather was kind for you yesterday, when we docked at Southampton breakfast time Saturday it did'nt look too promising, but being England can change quickly.
