My delicious Day!

Hello, I couldnt post only on the DD blog and not share these with you!  First up is the quickest guy card I think Ive ever made!

This is 'Coming Home' that was only released at the weekend, I believe it's been quite popular!  I loved the monochrome shadings on it so I layered it with some black and used script bp from Pink Petticoat, a ribboned sentiment and a few tiny white brads!  No colouring at all, perfect for a quick card.

Here is a style of card that I really love!  Its a leafy easel, nothing nicer at this time of year I find!

Here is 'Barn Owl', he's been slightly distressed around the edges and Ive used the grassy tree themed paper by Summer Driggs for the backing, the link is on my side bar. Teri's images have all of the hard work done for you, its already shaded, something I always struggle on with my PMs!

This is how it comes, perfectly shaded so now you can see how little Ive coloured it!  For anyone who's not yet tried one of Teri's nature drawings, pop over here and feast your eyes on them all & take your pick!

And on the floor of the easel, a carpet of leaves!  I treated myself to a couple of the new X-Cut leaf cut & emboss punches a while back and this is their first time out to play, I love these punches - look at the embossing on them, oooh they're lovely!

Hi Keryn

Two gorgeous creations.

I love the monochrome look .. .. so the first card is A1 in my book - and yet it is the quickest one you have ever made. Isn't it strange how it sometimes works like that?

Your second card is brilliant in a different way. I love your colours and that beautiful image and fab background papers.. .. .. and all of those fantastic leaves. Wow.

Gorgeous work!

Hope you have had a good time at Fleet with your Sis.

Love Jules xx

Two beautiful cards hun - I personally love the monochrome one as this is one of my favourite looks and that image is fab. The leafy easel is very unusual and is something very different. Great work. Hugs, Claire x

Fabulous hun! Both of them! Love the simplicity of the male card, love the colours and rustic feel of the Owl one.

Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog -so kind of you. Popped over to say thank you and discovered these fantastic nature cards. I must explore these - the shading already done sounds brilliant to me. I always struggle with the concept of 'where the light is coming from'.

Wow Keryn these are both fantastic, but i must say the leaves and owl make for one stunning card! It must have taken you an age to get all the leaves in the right place but well worth it
